The Industrial Relations Society of Australia, formed in 1965, is a federation of the State and Territory Industrial Relations Societies.

The Society brings together representatives of management, trade unions, government services and the professions, together with specialists in the various academic disciplines concerned with industrial relations, and seeks to develop an integrated approach to industrial relations.
